About Radium Psychology
Meet Kris
- Registered Psychologist | M.A. Counselling Psychology | B.Sc. Psychology with a minor in business
Kris brings warmth, confidence, competence and a grounded sense of humour to every session. As both a psychologist and business owner, she understands the pressures that come with ambitious goals, demanding responsibilities and the expectation to keep performing—even when something beneath the surface no longer feels sustainable.
Outside of work, Kris recharges by slowing down and creating space to think and reflect. She enjoys reading, writing, music, dancing, travelling and exploring great food.
These interests reflect something she encourages clients to remember: a meaningful life includes not only accomplishment, but also connection, creativity, joy and time to be fully present.
Experience + Credentials
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Business from the University of Alberta
- Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University
- three years of experience in financial services.
What Kris Understands
Kris believes therapy should provide insight, but it should also help you create meaningful change. Sessions are structured around the goals that brought you to therapy while remaining flexible enough to respond to what you need along the way should your goals change because she understands life is fluid. There is space to talk, reflect and process emotions, but the work does not end there. Kris helps clients recognize patterns, address underlying concerns and translate awareness into action so you feel transformed inside out.
STRUCTURED
Sessions remain focused on your goals, priorities and desired outcomes.
ADAPTABLE
The pace and structure of therapy are adjusted to how you process, communicate and create change.
PRACTICAL
You receive strategies and tools that can be applied outside the therapy room.
EVIDENCE-BASED
Psychological interventions are selected based on your needs and supported by research.
Why Kris Created Radium
Kris first visited Radium Hot Springs during a particularly difficult period in her life. While she was there, she had a heart-to-heart conversation with her dad.
He did not offer advice or try to solve the problem. He simply listened and remained present.
She left the springs feeling heard, renewed and more confident in her ability to move through the challenges in front of her. At the time, she was searching for a name for her practice. Radium Psychology felt like the natural choice.
Kris has always felt a strong connection to water, particularly the ocean. To her, water represents resilience, renewal and the ability to remain fluid while continuing to move forward.
That experience shaped what she wants Radium Psychology to provide: a place where clients feel heard, regain clarity and begin creating meaningful change.
